Our light tackle deep sea fishing trips run daily into the Gulf of Mexico. We offer 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 and 18 hour fishing trips. Our trips are low stress, no pressure, no hassle, come as you are and be prepared to enjoy your fish catching experience.

We take a maximum of only 17 people on our trips to insure that there is plenty of fishing room for each person onboard.

No hidden costs. All per person prices include rod, reel, bait, tackle, ice, hand towel, license and permits. We even filet your fish for free!

On our light tackle deep sea trips you may catch Red, Black & Gag Grouper, Red Snapper, Scamp, Lane Snapper, Grey Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, White Grunt, Porgy, Tom Tate, Perch, Flounder, Triggerfish, Mackerel, King Mackerel, Shark, Amberjack, Sea Bass, Barracuda, Cobia, Tuna, Banded Rudderfish, Etc...

Some of these fish are seasonal. If you want to target a specific fish, please, call us for details. Due to the fact that sharks are very important to the entire eco system of the Gulf of Mexico we only keep Bonnethead and Blacktip sharks. All other sharks will be released alive.

Generally, the longer the trip the farther out into the Gulf we can go. The farther out we go the bigger the fish are that you may catch. Please call us for details...

WE GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL CATCH FISH ON ANY OF OUR DEEP SEA FISHING TRIPS!

We have crew on the boat to insure you have a safe, fantastic, stress free time while fishing with us. The crew loads the boat with ice, bait, hooks, sinkers, fuel, rods and reels, etc.. before each trip. They are involved with a thorough "pre flight" check of the entire boat to ensure the safety of everyone on board before each trip.

The crew will provide you with instruction on how to use the rod and reel. They will give you instruction on how to catch the fish. They provide you with fresh cut bait and will bait your hook for you if you wish. They will take the fish you catch off of your hook, replace your hooks and sinkers with new ones as needed. They keep your catch iced down during the day to make sure the fish are "as fresh as they can be" for you.

Once back at the dock they will fillet your fish for you if you want them to. The crew also even gets to clean the boat for the next trip. The boat has to be just as clean as it was on your trip for the next trip because Captain Joe demands it.

In other words they work their BUTTS off on each trip before, during and after... They normally arrive one hour before the trip leaves and work about three hours after the boat arrives back at the dock.

Please remember to tip the crew as they really do work for tips only. 20% of trip cost is the usual charter boat customary tip.

The 4 hour trip ($93.46/person): We offer a 4 hour deep sea fishing trip. We usually go offshore into the Gulf up to 8 miles. Very popular trip for families, groups etc..

The 6 hour trip: ($126.17/person): We offer a 6 hour deep sea fishing trip. This is one of our most popular trips. You get about twice as much fishing time as the 4 hour trip without twice the cost. We usually go offshore into the Gulf up to 16 miles.

The 8 hour trip: ($163.55/person): We offer an 8 hour deep sea fishing trip. This is one of our most popular trips. You get almost twice as far out into the Gulf as the 6 hour trip without twice the cost. We usually go offshore into the Gulf up to 25 miles.

The 10 hour trip: ($224.30 /person): We offer a 10 hour deep sea fishing trip. Very popular with the more experienced fisherman. You get much farther out into the Gulf than on the 8 hour trip without twice the cost. We usually go offshore into the Gulf up to 35 miles. Only 14 passengers / fisherman on this trip. Price includes live bait, pinfish, shrimp etc.. when and if we can get it.

The 12 hour trip: ($280.38 /person): We offer a 12 hour deep sea fishing trip. Very popular with the seasoned, more experienced fisherman. You get much farther out into the Gulf than on the 10 hour trip without twice the cost. We usually go offshore into the Gulf up to 60 miles. Only 14 passengers / fisherman on this trip. Price includes live bait, pinfish, shrimp etc.. when and if we can get it.

We do offer longer 15 and 18 hour deep sea fishing trips. We usually go offshore into the Gulf up to 100 miles on these trips. These trips are designed for the more serious, seasoned fisherman.

On all of our trips we provide you with everything you need to go "catching". Rod, reel, tackle, bait and as much instruction as you would like are all included. We provide a variety of baits including frozen sardines, threadfins, cut up pieces of fish, shrimp and squid. We do have a live well onboard for anyone that wishes to bring live bait.

We use light tackle as this helps generate many more bites. We drop baits all the way down to the bottom to catch the fish that live and feed on the bottom. We also have baits free floating with the tide and wind to catch the fish that live and feed off of the bottom. We place chum in the water to attract the fish.

For those of you that will be keeping your catch we immediately put your catch on ice. We have plenty of room to properly ice and store your catch. We do follow all federal and state laws. We do not make the laws nor do we agree with some of them, however we do adhere to all laws regarding fish size limits, seasons, storage, etc... We will clean your catch for you if you would like us to. This service is included in your fare and we are happy to do it. If you do not want to cook your catch yourself, no worries, we will give you the names of some local restaurants that will prepare it for you.

***2024 DEEP SEA FISHING TRIP SCHEDULE***

EVERY MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SUNDAY WE OFFER A 6 HOUR DEEP SEA FISHING TRIP FROM 8AM TO 2PM AND A 4 HOUR TRIP FROM 3PM TO 7PM.

EVERY WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY WE OFFER AN 8 HOUR DEEP SEA FISHING TRIP FROM 8AM TO 4PM.

On all deep sea fishing trips we will be "bottom fishing". We provide you everything you need to catch fish, rod, reel, tackle, bait, etc... You can bring your own rod and reel, tackle etc...If you want to. Please limit it to one rod and reel per person. For the comfort and safety of everyone please no pipes, cigars or glass bottles.

The 2024 deep sea fishing schedule may be changed due to a variety of reasons. The above trips need a minimum of ten people signed up for them to go. Please call us at 941-809-5393 to check the schedule, availability and to make your reservations.

PAY BY THE PERSON: We operate with "party boat style pricing". This means that you pay by the person and only pay for the number of people in your group. You do not have to "charter" the entire boat to go fishing with us.

FISH GUARANTEED: No crowds so we GUARANTEE YOU WILL CATCH FISH!!! We have been in the fishing business in Sarasota and Manatee counties for over thirty years and we know how to catch fish. We are so confident in our fish catching abilities that when you fish with us, if you do not catch any fish you can return for another trip with us free of charge.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS PROVIDED: On all of our trips we provide everything:

rod, reel, tackle, towel, cup holder, fish cooler
all of your bait and ice
fishing license and Gulf of Mexico federal permits
expert tips and instruction
and we will even fillet your catch

Yes, we will fillet your catch for you at no extra charge.

We do not have extra charges, period. You may tip the crew if you want to as he / she does work for tips only. Tipping is not mandatory on our boats as it is with some others. Customary tip is 20% for the crew on a party fishing boat if you believe they have done a great job for you.

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED: We operate on a "first to buy the spot gets it" policy. Because we only take 17 passengers on the boat we cannot hold a spot for you on the boat unless you buy it. This is the fairest way for everyone...you buy the spots you want and they are yours. This way you know you have the spots for you or your group and we know the spots are taken so we will not let someone else buy them. You can use your credit card over the phone to buy your spots.

You have your tickets, now what?

On the day of your trip you should remember the following:

Bring sunscreen that you know works for you.
We suggest that you take some kind of medically approved motion sickness prevention "medication". If you are not sure about this ask your doctor for advice. Never take any medication without asking your doctor if it is ok for you to take it based on your specific medical condition. We have found that taking a seasick prevention pill the night before the trip when you go to bed and another one in the morning with breakfast works very well. We suggest the non drowsy type.
It is also recommended to bring a hat and twice as much food and drinks as you think you will need. There is something about being out on the water that makes most people hungry and thirsty. We do have coolers on the boat to put your food and drinks. Ice is included in the price of your ticket. We have plenty of ice so you do not need to buy any before you get here. We also have "dry" storage on the boat so if you want to bring your cell phone, camera, etc. that is fine.

Canceling the trip:

We will cancel the trip if we feel like it is not safe for us to be out in the boat due to inclement weather, etc. Most of the time we will wait until the morning of the trip to cancel. We wait until the morning of the trip because sometimes the forecast the night before turns out to be wrong. If we cancel the trip the night before when in fact we could have gone if we would have waited to see for sure what the weather was going to do, you most likely will not be happy with us. If we do have to cancel the trip we will try our best to reschedule the trip for you. If we cancel your trip for any reason, we will issue you a full refund. We will cancel the fishing trip if the USCG issues a "small craft exercise caution" order in our area or if the waves are forecasted to be higher than three feet. We will cancel the trip if we discover any issue that makes it unsafe to continue. We will cancel the trip if an issue develops making it imprudent to continue under the circumstances.
If you cannot make it to the boat to use your tickets for the spots you bought we will not issue you a refund. Once you buy the spots on the boat they are yours.
If you inform us as soon as you know that you cannot make it on the trip, we will try our very best to sell your spots to another party for you. We cannot guarantee that we can sell them and in the event that we do not, we will not issue you a refund.
